"Learn to ride a bicycle. You will not regret it if you live."- Mark Twain
What is Mountain Biking?
Mountain biking is a high-octane sport which uses balance and gravity to propel
a user on a specialized bike up, down, and around any rough terrain they encounter.
With less focus on pedaling, the biker has to use their body to keep their bike
stable through trails of various elevation and difficulty. One should have experience on a
bicycle before attempting this sport.
The Wheel Mill
For these group trips to the Wheel Mill, all participants will load up their gear and head out to The Wheel Mill, a massive
indoor biking park in Pittsburgh, PA. With eight different rooms to hone your skills,
each ranging from fundamentals for beginners to jumps for pros, this is an awesome
spot in the heart of Pittsburgh to spend an afternoon of biking in the winter.
Once all are worn out from the afternoon, we'll hit the Strip to find some good
eats in the city.
Mountain Biking Seminar:
This trip will be a beginner's seminar to teach you the mountain biking skills and
tricks you need to have the best experience. Once you get comfortable on easier trails,
there's plenty of room and opportunity for a fun, faster-paced experience. Depending
on how you feel on the pedals, you choice of difficulty levels is entirely up to you!
We facilitate this seminar usually at Cooper's Rock or White Park in Morgantown.
