Trip Dates: June 15-20

This trip is a great way to get away and explore some amazing areas of West Virginia.   The trip runs for 6 days, and includes visits to one National Park, four State Parks and four locations in the Monongahela National Forest.  Sites you will visit include:  Blackwater Falls, Canaan Valley, Seneca Rocks, Spruce Knob, Green Bank, Watoga SP, Cranberry Glades, Falls of Hills Creek and the New River Gorge.  This is a multidimensional trip that includes several different recreation activities.  Some of these activities include: frontcountry camping, day hikes and sightseeing.  This is a camping based trip and you will be sleeping in tents.  

Trip Cost/Cancellation:

The cost is $400. This includes instruction, camping fees, park entrance fees, transportation, trip gear and food.  $95 of this fee is a non-refundable commitment fee.  Cancellations made sooner than April 19 will receive a $305 refund. Cancellations after April 19 will not receive a refund.

Registration - Register Online

Registration is open on a first-come, first-served basis starting Monday, January 14. You can register online or in-person at the Outdoor Recreation Center to claim a spot on this trip. The trip cost may be paid for via credit card or STAR charge to your student account (STAR charges may only be completed in-person at the ORC).  

*All registrants must stop by the ORC to fill out the required paperwork within one week of registration to officially claim their spot.
